With over 20 years of experience in high-end construction and renovations, Wayne brings technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail to every project. Since joining Step Three in 2021, he has led some of the company’s most prestigious builds.
Wayne plays a key role in site management and technical operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and to the highest standards. His problem-solving skills, hands-on approach, and commitment to quality make him an invaluable part of the team, helping Step Three deliver exceptional craftsmanship and innovative construction solutions.
Karim Zayed
Operations & Project manager
Karim’s extensive experience in residential and light commercial project management ensures every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. He oversees design coordination, financial management, and contractor negotiations from planning to completion.
Working closely with local authorities, funders, and consultants, Karim manages planning applications, risk assessment, and stakeholder reporting. On-site, he ensures utility coordination, health & safety compliance, and quality control, keeping projects running smoothly. His hands-on approach and attention to detail make him a key part of Step Three’s commitment to delivering exceptional homes with efficiency and expertise.
Jack Boakes
LEAD design technician
Jack Boakes brings a wealth of experience in technical architectural design, having worked across all RIBA stages, from concept and planning to project completion. Trained under his father at award-winning practice Andrew Boakes Associates, Jack developed a deep understanding of architectural detailing and precision.
After working as an Architectural Technician at another respected firm, he ran his own practice for two years, delivering projects from concept through to completion. An Associate Member of CIAT, Jack ensures Step Three’s projects are technically robust, seamlessly executed, and designed to the highest standards.
Sarah Leigh
Finance & Office manager
With over 20 years of experience in finance and commercial banking, Sarah has been an integral part of Step Three Construction since 2014. As Finance & Office Manager, she oversees financial operations, business administration, and process management, ensuring the company runs smoothly and efficiently.
Before joining Step Three, Sarah held senior roles at Mizuho Corporate Bank, where she developed expertise in financial analysis and business strategy. Her strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and financial acumen support Step Three’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects with transparency and professionalism.
